Prevalensi Masalah Perilaku Remaja di Panti Asuhan Sekar Pengharapan dan Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Widhya Asih Cica Badung, Bali

Abstract

Background: The development of adolescent behavior plays a very important role in the future life of a teenager. The death of a parent is one of the main conditions that allow teenagers to be cared for by guardians other than parents, which influences the development of a teenager's behavior. An orphanage is a shelter for teenagers' physical, mental, and social development. This study aims to determine the prevalence of behavioral problems in adolescents with behavioral issues at the Sekar Pengharapan Orphanage and the Widhya Asih Cica Badung Child Social Welfare Institution (LKSA), Bali.

Method: Cross-sectional research to determine adolescents' behavioral problems in the Sekar Pengharapan orphanage and LKSA Widhya Asih Cica Badung, Bali. The research subjects were all teenagers living in the Sekar Pengharapan orphanage and LKSA Widhya Asih Cica Badung, Bali, who met the research criteria. Behavior problems were assessed using the PSC-17 questionnaire. All data were analyzed using the SPSS ver.25 program.

Results: Ninety-two teenagers living in orphanages were obtained, with 71.5% experiencing behavioral problems. 32.7% were early adolescents, 17.3% were late teens, 46.2% were middle teens, and 3.8% were pre-teens. 92% had good nutrition, and 8% had malnutrition (2% mild PEM, 4% Overnutrition, and 2% Obesity). As many as 80.8% had lived in an orphanage for less than 6 years, and 10.2% had lived for more than 6 years. As many as 69.2% of teenagers have never experienced bullying. PSC-17 showed internalizing, externalizing, and attention problems in 67.3%, 11.5%, and 9.6% of teenagers.

Conclusion: The prevalence of adolescents experiencing behavioral problems at the Sekar Pengharapan Orphanage and LKSA Widhya Asih Cica Badung, Bali, is 71.5%.

 

Latar belakang: Perkembangan perilaku remaja sangat berperan penting untuk kehidupan masa depan seorang remaja. Kematian orang tua merupakan salah satu kondisi utama yang yang memungkinkan remaja dirawat oleh wali diluar orang tua yang berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan perilaku seorang remaja. Panti asuhan merupakan penampungan pembinaan fisik, mental, sosial bagi remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi masalah perilaku remaja yang memiliki masalah perilaku di Panti Asuhan Sekar Pengharapan dan Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Widhya Asih Cica Badung, Bali.

Metode: Penelitian cross sectional untuk mengetahui masalah perilaku remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan Sekar Pengharapan dan LKSA Widhya Asih Cica Badung, Bali. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan Sekar Pengharapan dan LKSA Widhya Asih Cica Badung, Bali yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Masalah perilaku dinilai menggunakan kuesioner PSC-17. Seluruh data dianalisis dengan program SPSS ver.25.

Hasil Penelitian: Sebanyak 52 remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan diperoleh dengan 71,5% remaja mengalami masalah perilaku. Sebanyak 32,7% merupakan remaja awal; 17,3% remaja akhir; 46,2% remaja pertengahan; dan 3,8% pra-remaja. Sebanyak 92% memiliki gizi baik dan 8% dengan malnutrisi (2% PEM ringan, 4% Gizi Lebih dan 2% Obesitas). Sebanyak 80,8% memiliki durasi tinggal di panti asuhan selama kurang dari 6 tahun dan 10,2% sudah tinggal lebih dari 6 tahun. Sebanyak 69,2% remaja tidak pernah mengalami perundungan. Hasil PSC-17 menunjukkan adanya masalah internalisasi, masalah eksternalisasi, dan masalah perhatian pada masing-masing 67,3%; 11,5%; dan 9,6% remaja.

Kesimpulan: Prevalensi remaja yang mengalami masalah perilaku di Panti Asuhan Sekar Pengharapan dan LKSA Widhya Asih Cica Badung, Bali sebesar 71,5%.
